Swan Hills School History

The Swan Hills School started in the fall of 1959 with a two room building. But in September 1960, the number of kids in Swan Hills School had jumped from 80 to 117. In order to accommodate the extra numbers, the overflow was housed in the local hotel. At the same time a debenture issue for $120,000 was approved to finance for four new classrooms.
